Located at Lat/Long, Kodiak Island resides alongside the Katmai Peninsula, near the Kenai Peninsula, is the gateway to the Aleutian Islands, and contains the last bit of the Temperate Rainforest that extends up from British Columbia and along Eastern Alaska. As a result, one can find a great diversity of terrain in a relatively small area. Fishing is the primary commercial activity on Kodiak, but visitors can find a great number of outdoor activities with which to entertain themselves, both on land and at sea.
